The genuine trd kit is made from abs plastic, so will always be a perfect fit. The major downside to the GRP (fibreglass) is that they will crack and start looking tatty a long time before the genuine ones will
I wouldnt bother mate, for another £45 you can have a proper TRD one....yeap original fits perfect....no cutting/sanding as the ebay ones always say!
If it needs work done to make it fit, you'll end up paying the bodyshop the cash (or possibly more) that you saved on buying this instead of a genuine one. Plus as above a very minor impact with a kerb or something could make it crack so better going for the original if you can.
Agree with the above, I think it's a false economy getting a fibreglass replica of something that you can still buy new in much better quality. Fair enough if you wanted a different style of spoiler etc, which you could only get in GRP.
The difference in price between the Tte rear skirt and the replica one is huge.
OEM = £196 + Vat unpainted :ohmy:
Replica = £45 + £18.99 P+P.

Yeah i was mate, i'm very tempted to go for the replica as i don't see a Tte rear skirt coming up for sale anytime soon :confused1:
i brought that kit amd it is an ok fit.
