i have found someone that does the trd body kit

all i want is the front lip he said £100 inc p&p

is it any good? has anyone brought off this guy? i know sometimes they dont fit exactly as they should but a good body shop should sort that out right?

does the trd lip from lexus always fit 100%

The genuine trd kit is made from abs plastic, so will always be a perfect fit. The major downside to the GRP (fibreglass) is that they will crack and start looking tatty a long time before the genuine ones will

The genuine trd kit is made from abs plastic, so will always be a perfect fit. The major downside to the GRP (fibreglass) is that they will crack and start looking tatty a long time before the genuine ones will

I wouldnt bother mate, for another £45 you can have a proper TRD one....yeap original fits perfect....no cutting/sanding as the ebay ones always say!

I agree as above, the original TRD will fit spot on and is made of plastic so won't crack if you nudge a kerb and the paint will bond better!!

If it needs work done to make it fit, you'll end up paying the bodyshop the cash (or possibly more) that you saved on buying this instead of a genuine one. Plus as above a very minor impact with a kerb or something could make it crack so better going for the original if you can.

Yeah that's a more substantial difference - and if you're talking about the supplier that was in a thread over the other side the fit was surprisingly good as well.
