direct line don't insure mod'd car's
just phoned about my renewal,as to why it has jumped up. and when i did it again on line was cheeper to then be told as from the 1st of jan direct line can't insure any car with any mods like mine with a induction kit.
now need to go hunt for car insurance any idea's
the usual comparison suspects are worth a punt, but I've been told (though can't confirm myself) that Performance Direct are decent about modded cars.
Also maybe worth giving Adrian Flux a call - you can PM someone on here (someone will know the member name and probably post it ahead of me ) and get a quote?
Bandit used John Lewis for his Skyline - worth a shout.
try emodified.co.uk and let us know what they say as they seem to be alright prices when i got a quote from random checking
Try sky or chris knott
Try admiral.
Admiral will insure mods but they don't insure like for like, so when someone nicks your mods or you crash and break them, they will put standard manufacturer parts back on. Standard parts from Lexus/Toyota are really expensive which makes it way more likely your car would be an economical writeoff in the event of a claim.
