Sealing a sump
Sealing a sump

What's the best stuff to use to seal a sump???
I used gasket sealent but it's seeping thro 
would I be better off using a gasket and sealent???
Or should the sealent be suffice???
Is there any pressure in the sump???
Black Silicone.
wont that melt with the heat???

black sealer is ok for the job thats what we use.......

well thats what i did use but its leaked 
when i change oil i will redo it
Just use loads, wear gloves also...
Yeah cos it's 1 of the messiest jobs to do.
Oil an muck wash off. That stuff just sticks you to everything
