I went down to below the half way of the "E" mark, it was soo empty, when i put my foot down, no power was coming, and i limped it all the way to the petrol station,

filled it to the top and was ay 66 litres

yh if you filled it and it went to 59, means still about 10 litres left, unless there changed the tank size.

in my astra, the other day i forgot my wallet went to work 30 miles away, and after work switched it on and the light was flashing, in astras when it low its a continous light, if its extremly low it flashes,

so was stuck 30 miles away no wallet no money with the light flashing.

i thought what the hell got aa relay breakdown ill put it to the test.

did 55-60 all the way back brokedown two miles away from home.

So managed to do another 25 odd miles whilst it was flashing, so i know its limit, but what was annoying about it, on the way i got to go on the M6 which was gridlocked so i reckon the stopping and starting drank all the fuel otherwise i probally might have done the 30 miles

Yeh it took them a few days to rewire it and replace the burnt bits, as there is more than one type of loom for the is200, and the quotes i got just for the loom were really silly (even 2nd hand) so it didnt make sense for me to do it myself, plus couldn't afford to do it at the time, so to me SPC did me a favour? and its good to see it running againSmile

I ended up with over 5k for the car and all the bits i sold, so it wasn't too bad, and the insurance were just taking the P, saying they wouldn't pay out for the mods and just the basic car! so it was better for me in the long run to strip it and sell it on  and i now have a car that i've always wanted to try with more power and a great engine to play with, so quite happy about it now Confusedmoke:
