Tango  In comparison it's possibly better than the 250 (which needs a waxing).
Christian, the only problem is I appear to have collected most of the insect population between Guildford and the Cotswolds on the front of the car from the journey home
What's the best product to get'em off, or to condition pre-wash?

Christian may i ask why the lime prime Dodo and not the dodo for dark paint was used (would i have ben better with this one)
Another question if i can how many application do you need to add of the poorboys alloy wheel polish before if start to really work to stop the break dust from sttleing?
I have added a couple of application now should i continue each time i wash the car or not?
Christian Why have you decided that this is the colour you would like your Supra?
Morning guys, Sorry Terry i missed your insect question. To be honest you could use a bug remover spray but they really should come off very easily with warm water and a good shampoo, give it a dry and then spray some quick detailer and re buff to a shine.
Hi Lexusboy, i used lime prime lite which is a glaze and pre-wax cleanser to prepare the paint to recieve a wax, which will help it to bond better. This product contains no abrassives, lime prime (not lite) however does have abbrassives, so would have been no good for this task. For the wax i used Vics Concourse, think you may have got the wax and glaze mixed up as i presume you are asking in reference to the wax you recently bought? Unless ive totally misunderstood you
Ideally 3 coats of the poorboys applied all over with wheels off would keep you protected for about 3 months i would say. 1 application will protect them very well from brake dust and make cleaning much easier, but i would say to keep on top of protection this should be done once a month if not removing and doing a good 3 layers all over in one go.
Regarding the colour, i really dont fancy a black respray, ive had loads of black cars, 2 of them supras. They are great, but i just fancy a change. White would be great, but i wouldnt get the benefits with what i do quite as much. I'd kinda settled on a gunmetal colour, the stock supra one is a bit light, as i would like to keep the colour dark, but not black Lamborghini grigio avlon was top of my list as i also wanted a metallic not solid colour, but some pictures i have seen of this are also very light. Terry's colour on the IS F was stunning, dark enough in certain light but the metallic flake was just excellent in direct sunlight. I want to have a few carbon parts on the exterior such as front lip, small Ridox boot spoiler and top secret diffuser, these would go absolutely perfect with this colour and be a great contrast. I wouldnt put carbon with black as it just doesnt look right, always. This was a very classy colour that will contrast great with carbon and black wheels, will show off detailing work well when i use the car at demo shows and give me a change from black

Sounds spot on Christian, agree with you on the no carbon and black rule as imo you need a contrast, I reckon you should go with RSP mate not many about in this colour and it's absolutely stunning

Thanks for the info Christian, it was my fault i never knew that the lime prime lite which is a glaze and pre-wax cleanser thought it was a wax.
That helps me clear that up, so i learned some thing new today:thumbup1:
Thanks also for the tip on the alloys.....
I love a small flake in the Sunlight I have a small amount in my paint work as well.
It seems really hard to show this in a photograph, you seem to be only able to show this with real close up pictures.
I like a car to be different and i think your idea of painting the car in the colour of Tango's will work very well.
