Patrick you say that as the bypas only closes fully at full throttle the boost is not there - from someone who has "downgraded" from the supercharger to NA the supercharger does still work well at 2k rpm upwards even at part throttle.

Also people have complained previously about the blitz supercharger kit on the RS200s being very hard to live with as it only kicked in at full throttle. I think Gord might be able to comment more.......

Was Supercharged Racing Green IS200 Sport. Now APR Stage 1 Seat Leon Cupra (220 Bhp).

DJ Wozza The Blitz S/C Altezza was very much nothing, nothing, nothing, BANG OMFG !! to drive...

So more like a laggy turbo setup?

Exactly what a SC is not ment to be.

"Life's goal is not to arrive safely at the grave in a well preserved body. But, rather to skid in sideways........
totally worn out and broken, shouting 'Holy ****, WHAT A RIDE!'"

Could you just not have an incar adjuster for the boost? Turn it up when you want to have a blast and turn it down when you want to save fuel?
My mate has one on his R5 turbo, and it works a treat, not sure whether you can do the same on a supercharger though.
