Nope, credit has to go to Apple for finding the niche as always - I don't believe there have been many (if any) tablets of this form in the past. They've always been closer to laptops with the swivel and flip down type screen with a proper keyboard. Also they've always had a stylus as well to date so haven't provided the experience that a slim, finger friendly "just screen" tablet can
Although to be honest if someone makes one with a proper keyboard that's still relatively slim with a capacitive touchscreen, I'd be interested :biggrin:

I agree with Gord, i love my iphone but the pad just seems like an oversized iphone, without the capabilty of making a call.....:Fish::Fish:

(Yes, I know it can store loads of movies, music, videos and other media but there are 1000 other double din car stereos that share this functionality. And yes, the screen is bigger than those, but it's also a stupid resolution so you can't watch HD stuff on it to make good use of the larger screen!)
But it can't run anything useful!! Great, you could have a vuvuzela app running in the middle of your dashboard :Chair: or iPint gurgling away when you go round a corner.

Lol exactly, it's basically just a web browser, email and media device, so what a phone can do but bigger. When tablets running Windows 7 come out in the next few months, they'll make the iPad look really silly.

I didn't think it looked too bad (compared to his previous clipboard) until last week when he had it in some sort of case - it looked ridiculous!
