Water pump
I've asked some people around about this. I need to change the cambelt in couple of days and I was just wondering if the waterpump can be changed at at a later date without removing the cambelt. Given the fact that the waterpump is not driven by the timing belt it looks quite possible to be doable but I am not sure. I want to change everything (3 belt and radiator hoses) What you guys think?

08-06-2016, 12:01 PM #3The online workshop manual procedure for removing the water pump, here, says to remove the timing belt first. I can only assume it's necessary, but I haven't actually tried it myself to know for sure.

For the cost of a pump replace it at the sametime as a cambelt.

Waterpump can be changed without removing the cambelt- I've done this with my IS200.
