Totally forgot to check when my MOT was due. On looking it was 2 months out (and me working for DVLA) so finished work early, straight to the MOT station. Expecting the worst, what a shock " here you go sir, your new MOT" that will be £** please. What a happy but very lucky guy I am.

i can't understand why they remind people about Tax but not MOT?

I think since we now have printed MOT certificates which is linked to the DVLA they should send out reminders and for insurance aswell. They check you have both before you can buy TAX online.
