Hey everyone!

Nice forum you have here Smile

So I thought I'd share my lexus. I bought her about a year ago with 136k miles on thhe clock, FSH and top spec for £3k. She drives really nicely and checked all the boxes I wanted from a car - reliability, looks, fun to drive, relatively cheap to insure, etc.

Now I'm finally no longer a student and I'm making the monies I think I might splash out on some performance mods rather than selling her on for something more powerful. Really in love with this car and I agree with the general feel I have got from you guys on this forum that it can give so much more with only a few thousand spent on performance (certainly cheaper than saving up 7K for a new car!).

I need a little advice/help on sprucing up the car while I save my pennies for a supercharger and the rest of my shopping list.

I'll start with a few pics from when I bought her:

(Have since removed the tinted strip on windscreen)

^^umm I didn't mean to quote that, and I can't seem to edit!

Anyway! there are some issues, I'll start with the N/S side skirt:

So as you can see it is peeling away slightly, what can I use to fasten it back in place? Or should I just hand it over to a body shop?

Here is another problem that has been bothering me a lot...

Leaky O/S fog lamp!

I've taken the housing out to replace the blown bulb (total pain to get out, even more to put back in place), want to be sure of how to pry it apart before I stick into the oven (or using a heat gun). Are there any extra fastenings? What could I use to reseal the lens? Also the silica gel tip work to fight the moisture?

I have done a few searches to find a HowTo but didn't manage to find an explanation. Really appreciate any tips Smile
