I have always had induction kits on my cars however I am unsure what to buy for the Lexus. The induction pipe works appears to go over the engine bay which I would have thought would create alot of heat soak. Is this the case or not?

What options are there for panel and induction?

Car 1 - 02 Lexus IS200 SE Strathcaron Blue, Sport Grille, TTE Lowering Springs (to be fitted), K&N Panel Filter, 6500K XENON Headlight Main & Dipped Bulbs, Xenon Sidelights, 17" Gunmetal Powder Coated Alloys, Front Grooved Discs and Mintex Pads
Car 2 - 73 Hillman Imp AKA Hilda, Aquarious Blue, work in progress!

Pannel filter mate. As you say the induction kit goes over the exhausts. However Bandit (sure it was bandit??) made a good kit for very little money that didn't go over the exhaust. The instructions were on here somewhere?

I've made a few induction kits for the is200 now mate, and still say the best bit of kit is the K&N panel filter, most of the induction kits get pretty hot under the bonnet, so unless you want a bit more noise then i'd say go for the K&N panel filter (Part No: 33-2845) But check that mate as i'm sure that's the one i had for a while? :thumbup1:

K&N filters are good mate, sometimes find you get a bit better fuel consumption and a bit more sound from them on the is200 :thumbup1:
