That's really unusual that they're admitting it's an error but not reversing it, sounds like they might be doing this to quite a few people...........
Carpediem just gotta get rid of the lex now ..........

yeah, i drive 17 miles to work but hardly get it warm so mpg is low 30's at best, and thats miss daisy driving territory
insurance is a bit high in retrospect of when i bought it
finance isnt bad at £219, but i need to be more sensible with my money
I really love the lexus, but im sure i can finance a car i love jsut as much for less on all rounds costs
looking at a vw jetta same reg 56 plate, only 55k miles, 2.0 sport 140bhp
beats the IS on around 5-10mpg on all accounts
4 insurance groups lower
and might be able to get it for around £170-£180 a month, meaning a total saving of about £150 a month
^^ I know Marsdendean's Mrs does around 40 miles a day, and is costing him an arm and a leg, but he refuses to get rid!!
That's a shame, although that is pretty poor economy. Don't have too much sympathy though, at the mo I'm doing 50 miles a day and getting roughly 25mpg ulk:
Those new jettas are quite nice, a bit on the dull side but really classy considering they are just a golf with a boot - worth looking at a used 320d as well though as you really can't match BMWs fuel economy figures........
bit pricey,........after speaking to finance company and working out settlement figure v lexus value v £180 a month budget, requiring a diesel thats more economical and cheaper to insure, but similar spec to the lexus
I have the grand budget of £6.5k
so doubt its gunna happen unless i seriously downgrade, which im not willing to do
