Max HP From 1GFE
Max HP From 1GFE
welcome to ojc.
no unfortunatley not buddy, the tte supercharger kit will bump it up to around the 200 mark with some supporting mods and fueling.
turbo'd looks like the max is around 400-450 and the pistons explode so you will need to replace the pistons and rods for big power with a lot of supporting mods on top to reach that figure
n/a you'll be lucky to bump it up an extra 10 or 20bhp being generous with decated exhaust and change of intake.

fuelling i meant fcd/blackbox maybe injectors depending on pulley size
No one has really bothered trying to extract NA power from a 1G-FE. It's not a performance engine and it didn't go in a lot of cars, so there is very little support from aftermarket manufacturers. Custom cams are rare because the VVTi adjustment is done on the end of the cam which makes them unique to the engine. You can free up the air intake and remove the pre-cats from the exhaust manifold to make it flow a bit better but you'd need to put a piggyback ECU on there to sort the fuel map out and extract higher power. All that might net you 5-10bhp? It's not worth doing, so no one does it. NA tuning is expensive price per horsepower.
You could hunt down the extremely rare 2.2 stroker kit, put some throttle bodies on it, get a load of head work done, balance it and up the rev limit to 8500 rpm and after £10,000 you'd probably see 200-210hp NA.
