Rising Sun Performance Hampshire..anyone Used Them.tuning/mapping Work

After a few calls today to various tuners for doing a map on my Lexus IS200 turbo,

Ryan & 2Bar Tuning cannot unlock my HKS F Con V ecu, Thor Racing don't map HKS management, Hyper Sports 7 Racing Ltd. at Wigan went bust in 2009( car went there previously a good few yrs back).

Ike & IK Engineering can do the job but is far to busy right now but he recommended Rising Sun Performance at Ropley., Aresford in Hampshire anyone know anything about this company? I beleive they do a lot with Nissan Sylines but have mapped some is200 turbo cars also.

The company is now called Bells Auto Services ltd, they've got a dyno dynamics rolling road and have been recommended to me by IK Engineering.

Anyone had experience with these in the past good or bad?

Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.

Not heard of them myself but if Ike recommends then its a good recommendation

Rising sun used to deal mainly in skylines and nobody i know with skylines will let them remap anything. There are many stories on the forums of bad service blowm engines bad maps etc the have changed names a couple of times to shake the past but i have no experience of them since the name change. Abbey motorsport is where all the people i know go so may be worth speaking to them. Hope that helps as i said googke rising sun performance and look through some of the skyline owners threads for more info

Ross, thankyou very much for replying.Yes they have changed names to Bells Auto Services Ltd.I don't know if they are the same people who have the place now though.
That's not good news for me then from what you have mentioned above.
I will speak to Abbey Motorsport as I know these are HKS dealers aswell.The problem I have is we think my ecu is locked by TDI so the the problem is only a limited amount of people have the software to unlock the ecu,that's my big issue.
I will speak to Abbey motorsport as you have suggested and see what they have to say.

Can tdi not unlock it first so you can get it done elsewhere surely its your ecu so they cant have that control on it?

Surely if abbey are official hks dealers they can unlock the fcon or at least speak to hks regarding unlocking the ecu

Ross, I'm ot sure if TDi would unlock it, then again they probably will for a nice little cost.
