A friend has offered me a set of 4 10 spoke Lexus 17 inch wheels (normally fitted to the IS220 or 250. They come with 2 Toyo Proxes 245 /45/17 tyres and 2 Toyo Proxes 225/45/17 tyres. Does anyone run these wheels on their IS200, and will they bolt straight onto my Lexus?

Normally these should fit straight on but with out the off set i would not be 100% sure.

Can you not try them first as it your friend?

Ten spoke look very nice on the is200

I think DJ Wozza has the 220 250 wheels

Wozza's wheels are 18" extra-wide ones though, not standard ones. I think they'll probably go straight on but it's worth checking the offset (will be stamped on the inside of the wheel).

What width are they ? Presumably the rears are wider than the front ?

And they're 17s and not 18s ?

Stevie, These are definately 17", and yes you are correct in saying that the rears are wider. Do you do the offset of the 5 spoke original wheels?
The asking price is around £450....with Toyo Proxes tyres

The original 5 spokes have a 50 offset, one of the guys from Ireland (Noel on the other site) had the 17" IS250 alloys on his is200 and looked good :thumbup1:

You need the off set to know if spacer will need fitting.

That's quite a lot of money for four used wheels, which will have no warranty (and being Lexus wheels they will corrode). How much tread is left on the tyres ?
