Since owning my LS460 I've had nothing but issues with warped rotors. I've had them skimmed, replaced, different makes fitted, different pads...etc and it has always returned.

I got so bored of it that I started looking for a new car. I looked at Audi',s Merc's and even a Bentley Flying Spur. But nothing had any advantage over the LS460 that would make me chop it in and throw £20k+ at the dealer.

So instead I got some new brakes...

I could have got them in any colour with etched logos, but I decided to go low-key instead.

I've also got a new set of front wheel hubs, just in case those are warped or knackered.

Fingers crossed it'll be the end of my braking issues.

They are actually from eBay - a company called PB Brakes. For £1100 you get 6 pot callipers, the rotors I pictured, pads, braided brake lines and all the fitting kit.

You can also choose blank, slotted, drilled or slotted + drilled for no extra, and pick any colour to have the callipers anodised.

I was worried about being the mule for using these on the LS460, but they showed me a few USA LS460's that had them fitted so it seemed worth a punt.

4.2KG for the Callipers
10.2kg for the Rotors.

Might not be totally accurate on the rotors as I had to use the bathroom scales - kitchen ones wouldn't go that high.

Thanks for that, now all I need to do is weigh the standard IS250 ones. :thumbup1:
