iTunes - losing my patience
iTunes - losing my patience
Ok so I finally thought I had the measure of this program and after literally hours of work I got all my albums sorted out and all was well............until now that is!
It has now in its infinite stupidity created a duplicate for every single track I have!
It has created a whole set of duplicates where the track name is now "artist name - track name"
How do I get rid of these and make sure it doesn't do it again? Have I done something wrong? If I right click and look at the source location they both point at the same file so I can't figure it out.
Lexusboy Thought it was just me that could not get to grips with this iTunes programme. No it really isn't, it's the most retarded piece of software I've ever used - it just wants to do what it wants to do rather than what it should do! If this is an insight to all apple products, I'll stick with Windows! :thumbup1:
Marsdendean Use something like Foola (i think thats the name, and im sure it free)Yep the alternative is to switch back to Winamp or another, but in terms of doing a full sync to an iPod it does seem the best option. Plus I've invested so much time getting iTunes the way I wanted it that I don't want to give up too easily!
It simply uses a drop and drag feature. Itunes does well by placing everything into albums, and you would have to do that yourself, but i found it to be the best and simple!

I don't blame you, iTunes is absolute garbage IMHO
i stopped using itunes ages ago as it seems to have a mind of its own? you would of thought it would be a lot easier to setup and do what you want it to do, with it coming from such a big company? Maybe its us though being a bit on the thick side :Fish:
