Another new daily... The V8 Soarer (Kassia)
Well after 4 months with the Scooby and 4000miles later I decided It wasn't for me.
So onwards and upwards... I'm back in something more to my taste... A Big V8 Beast of a Soarer
Currently fitted up with HSD Coil overs (tracking need to be done ASAP)
Custom exhaust with X pipe fitted (needs new back boxes... Don't like the pea shooters)
Some decent wheels... And a funky bottom half viynal wrap... Not sure if I like it... But its staying for the moment.
Here's some pics...
Only having it a few hours I haven't had time to do much yet...
But first thing was to sort out the really bad blow from the drivers side manifold.
The people that made the exhaust have managed to cross thread all 3 bolts holding the downpipe on to the the drivers side manifold.
I ended up snapping 2 bolts and removing one.. I managed to get one nut on what was left of the stud of one of the broken ones. And tried to re seal it...
Its better but not fully sealed... Will need a new manifold.
This morning I've been out and dyed the carpet and the interior mats as there was way too much grey going on inside.
Carpet dyed.
Floor mats dyed and I stalled.
It's going to need a new stereo as the Japanese sat navigation unit just isn't going to cut it... And I'm stuck listening to radio 2
So new stereo and speaker upgrade to be done ASAP
Later spec UZ manifolds will bolt onto the early UZ and flow a lot better. This includes the 3uz
Looking good mate, what did you use to dye the mat's and carpets

Cheers guys...
She's changed a lot recently... After only having it a few weeks.
All the wrap has been removed... The roof has been peeled and new lacquer applied (not a professional job... Just 2 monkeys with spray cans) also the mess of a drivers side wing has been sanded back and painted to get rid of the nasty massive filler patch!
And it's been cleaned and waxed...
Pics coming
Vinyl wrap removal... Left me with some bad hidden damage, but I was kinda expecting it to be honest...
Not nice... But will be working to tidy it up over the next few days...
Next was the drivers side wing...
Some repair work and a at home garden respray
Next is to fix the badly peeling roof...
All the lacquer was peeled back to the door lines and blended as well as I could... Not the best job... But it looks a hell of a lot better than it was.
Before flattening and polishing
After a flat and polish (by hand)
Now for a clay bar and a polish
Will try and get some more done...
I'm on the hunt fir a new boot lid... But the only one I can find is in Sheffield.
If you see one let me know
Also she has been given a full service... New oil, filters and plugs.
I've found out that the plugs in the car are the same ones that were in the car when imported from Japan.
Which means the car has not been serviced in 10years!!!
Thats over 40,000 miles.
As you can imagen... She drives a lot better now and runs a lot smoother
