why would you want to spray it thats the point of owning a carbon bonnet,

Plus after owning a Seibon Myself:thumbup1: i can say that the carbon weave looks abolsutley stuuning especially if caught right by the sun. Almost like a see of gold glitter on a black surface. Plus it weighs next to nothing.

Would suggest getting on the blower to figs for bonnet struts and remember the noraml bonnets struts maybe to strong for the carbon bonnet.

Please bare this in mind if you plan on purchasing one.

The highlighted bit is the reason I'd consider a carbon bonnet. It's a personal thing but I really don't like the look of a Platinum Ice IS200 with a black/carbon bonnet. Yes, I like the look of the carbon weave but I don't want a chequerboard car personally (just like we all have different tastes in colours, body kits, wheels etc, etc).

So if I ever bought one I'd paint it. Which does make me wonder if it would be worthwhile, it would just be the lighter weight. Could always go FRP of course.
