yh i think it should, i remember having 2x3 buttons, just make sure you got a master otherwise you cant programme it

put it in the ignition turn it to II (i think) and report back how your red dot in dash flashes, that will signifiy whether its master or not, cant find the info on it just yet

I believe it's actually possible to register 3 masters to the car but not 100% on that.

I think either key can be programmed to be a master, but by default from the factory the black 3 button keys are the masters and the grey 2 button key is the valet key. From the factory the car comes with 2 masters and 1 valet key.
I believe it's actually possible to register 3 masters to the car but not 100% on that.

19-12-2016, 03:21 AM #6To work out if it's a master, watch the flashing security light as you insert the key into the ignition. For a master key the light will extinguish immediately. For an ordinary key the light will stay on for a second and then go out.

Asi yes but remember all my speedo aint working so the security light doesnt go away so i have a key anyway so will try and reprogramme
So the whole gauge cluster doesn't work ? Sorry, I thought it was just the speedometer itself.

well when i start the car up the whole thing lights up, the trc light flashes,engine management light is on, handbrake light doesnt go away and the secuirty light keeps flashing. the rev goes up to 2 and thats it. the mph thign does not work. the battery works fine. the mpg gauge, goes right around to 0 and when switched off goes back down to 0. the fuel gauge does not work
