Going to de-tango and spray my headlights soon so was thinking of putting some Halo rings in whilst there apart, just wondered how they connect up:blink: do they just connect to the sidelights or do they require separate wiring?

Think most people remove the sidelights and hook them up to that wiring.

21-01-2017, 12:25 PM #4just a warning for those who have oem hids...... make sure you seal the lights up realy well as i found out that if you get water inside the lights the water sits in the ballest for the hids because they are not sealed but open and it kills them. and new ones are not cheap.....

Do Halo rings not just connect to the sidelight wiring like a bulb?

21-01-2017, 12:32 PM #6Yep, you connect them to the side light/parking light sockets. Have you seen the new Flashtech LED halos? CCFL ones are pretty unreliable and take a while to light up completely.
