The laptop is OK with W7 and my A3 printer scanner and Laser printer is OK also, so an easy upgrade..............

05-03-2017, 03:30 AM #3Lenovo :thumbup1: running Vista, I have no real issues with Vista but it takes FOREVER to boot, and the snap function would be useful.
The laptop is OK with W7 and my A3 printer scanner and Laser printer is OK also, so an easy upgrade..............

and if it was advent i have a rstore disc that will work with any advent laptop.

05-03-2017, 03:33 AM #5Its a full size laptop, not a net book, the net book runs XP and only does internet at home via a mobile dongle thing. Funny how that boots up in less then 2 mins, and the Lenovo takes at least 10mins - no joke. I don't bother turning it off its that slow at booting up.

Takes about 40 seconds - 1minute to boot up but after that its fine! Looks like a con-site though

MY PC is 5 Years old. Single Core Processor (2.0GHz) and 1.5GB RAM but runs Windows 7 smoothly. Windows Media Player crashes the odd time but i think its becase i have about 3000 songs on my playlist.
Takes about 40 seconds - 1minute to boot up but after that its fine! Looks like a con-site though
