i am thinking to get a hks camp in future and want to connect it to a screen like Rabster has done. if i buy the later sat nav with the wider screen. i know i would need to put a after market screen in it which should not be a problem but i was wondering how would the motor go up and down when the ignition is on and off. hard??

As for the up down etc that's 4 wires
ground
acc
12v
illumination
Rabs
If the car doesn't have nav to start with it's nearly impossible to get the screen to function as all the screen controlls are done via the nav interface not the screen my housing was a 5" screen but I changed the casing to 7" cost about £80 for the parts
