15-04-2017, 12:17 PM #1the saddest day of my life today, my mother in law the best in the world, more like a mum to me than mine ever was, was at the hospital last week for a mri, we got the results today and there bad, she has cancer of the ovaries, its took the wind out of me and my wife, she does so mutch for us and is the only grandparent our 2 kids have, to top it off we booked a holiday in dec for greece in july we take her as a way of saying thanks for all she does for us, and we cant go, the holiday site we booked with wont refund a single penny, there is no contest in our priorities but they are sharks! shes 69 still works full time and is the kindest person in the worl, so so undeserved!

i'm really sorry to hear that mate....i had some thing like that happen to me....i got married on the 8aug 08 and my dad died on the 9aug 08 we had our honeymoon booked and had to cancel our honeymoon and their answer....you wont get any money back as it doesn't directly affect you!!!and that was their exact words!!

dont think its quite hit her yet mate, she goes back in aweek too see exactly what is going on , at the moment there talking of a hystrectomy and chemo. they will no exactly whats going on when the latest test results come in. she sead im not living with cancer it can live with me! i hope and pray we have her for quite some time.
