Standing 25.5m high and weighing 60 tonnes, it is one of Gormley's larger, more adventurous works.
Made of more than 5000 randomly orientated elements in a variety of angle-sections that connect in 547 nodes with the use of 14000 bolts. The work is a complex and unique combination of art and engineering.
The structure will stand in place in the steel fabricators yard for approx 2 weeks before it will be dismantled piece by piece and transported to its final destination in Lelystad in Holland where it will be re assembled by Had Fab.

Seems pretty pointless but I guess a lot of art is - least this isn't a million quid for a couple of lines on canvas...
