Happens every year!

Got my Admiral renewal through this morning - £678 for a 10 month policy.
Being a little surprised as I normally am when renewal comes through, put it through their own website and all the comparison sites, and as usual confused.com came out on top - £559 for 12 months cover......that's a whopping £250 less if you annualise the original renewal price
yeah, but all these sites do exactly the same thing - they apply additional discounts to the quotes on the basis they're hoping to attract new customers, and then they hope at renewal time to screw you over.
But you get the quote online, and they have to honour it... even if the quote's for your existing insurer...

my renewal this year came up at nearly £1300 fully comp but paid £942 last year with direct line.Anyway, after doing loads of quotes I got my insurance in the end for only £600 fully comp with Sky Insurance with zero voluntary excess and only £250 compulsary! I know the compulsary excess aint exactly low but compared to what other companies were saying its a bargain!
my quote was £529 on the 200, went up to £950 when I bought the 300, these quotes are without any mods,
renewal is due in a month, and i've received quotes from moneysupermarket and confused of no less than £1400 and this includes 18's and body kit altho that might not get fitted for a few months
gave flux my details with mods and they quoted £700
Greenlight have quoted me £623
i'm thinkin I can get it down lower yet
Why so high for the 300? Seems quite unusual.......

All insurance companies send a renewal letter that higher than last years policy, on the hope that you jsut let it roll over,
ring any of them up and they always reduce it,
My SEAT Ibiza 1.2 ref sport with Aviva was £1,200 for the first year i had it, renewal wanted £1,600. Rang them up and got it down to £700 lol
Paying £141 a month at the minute for the 220d, but changed mid policy so as someone else said they had me over the barrel, either pay up or find £200 deposit for a new policy and pay £70 cancellation charges
