IPhone 3G's Help
Hi,
Ive just inherited a new Iphone 3G's and im wondering how to put videos/films onto it.
I have converted a video to MP4, but whenever i drag it to "film/tv programme" it does nothing. I cant drag it to my library, and on the iphone section, i go to drag it and it has a +, i drop it, but nothing happens
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Jambo
Just realised its only audio converter. Is there any avi -> Mp4 video converters which are free/and can convert 100% of the video?
thanks

Don't know anything about the i-phone mate but i've used this in the past, CLICK ME?
Haven't used for a long time though mate, so there might be something better to use now?
you have to use i-tunes to sync the files from your computer to you phone.
I've used some software recently to convert DVD to iPhone but I'm not on my laptop at the mo so I don't know what it is. I just did some searching on the net and I found quite a few things out there. I also use something that allows you to save programs from BBC iplayer onto you iPhone. If you don't find anything by the time I get back on the computer I'll send you some links.
I've used VLC in the past too but not sure if they've now removed mp4 support (as Apple are trying to close everything down so you have buy videos from them) but well worth a try. Even a lot of premium software like Roxio has had mp4 support removed - for that very same reason if you ask me.
VLC plays nearly anything you throw at it, MP4 included.

I have got "Format Factory" and "Handbrake". Both do the job, just got to leave them converting whilst im away, bit of a pain that it doesnt read AVI, but thanks for the help guys!
Looked at a few of them, but with the ones i have, you dont get a message saying "You will have 30% converted until you buy it" lol
Thanks (y)

are you putting a dvd film onto it or a downloaded one?
