Most of you have probably heard what the TTE supercharger sounds like when it's allowed to breathe properly, but for those of you who haven't heard, here's a short video.

I've now got a switch on the dashboard to engage/disengage the magnetic clutch on the supercharger. Now I can cruise along quietly and then overtake someone while making a lot of noise

Cheers

Marsdendean ^^ That sounds very nice, So does the switch in effect turn the charger off??

Exacly, here's how the magnetic clutch works: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZQ15TteeYiU - It works the same way as the A/C pulley.

i would seriously advise against running with an open airbox.. there would no longer be the "cold" air from outside the bay so the hot engine bay air is being drawn in. With the supercharger outlet air temp of above 90C and a throttle body intake temp of 70-80C you are only increasing those temperatures.
