Tyre tests
Tyre tests
Has anyone got a copy of the issues with this years Autocar or AutoExpress tyre tests?
Going to need new rear tyres soon and trying to decide which to go for to replace my F1s:
Michelin Pilot Sport 3
Continental Sport Contact 3
Continental Sport Contact 5
Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta
The Conti 3s have topped both of the tyre tests above, the 5 seems quite new so doesn't have any reviews I can find....
Ive got the contact 3 on mine at the moment very good tyre
SHAHZ Ive got the contact 3 on mine at the moment very good tyre

Love Conti's had those in the IS and the grip was great.

Would highly recommend Falken FK452's mate got 18k out on the rears on mine and they haven't slipped once. Much much much better than my Eagle F1 GSD3's that were on it previously

Yeap, good grip and they are not noisy have a read here but that was in comparison to the toyos, so cant comment in comparison to the F1s

Marsdendean I'm going for Michelin Pilot Sport 3 once i have got some 18" fitted and the winter has gone.
Going for falkens again, despite i didn't like them last time, as i can get them for £260 for 4

Mate i think with most of the bigger brands you cant go wrong.... i know many have used the toyos and Falkens with the IS so you wont really go wronmg there either....and they will be easier to you wallet!
To be honest that's what's sort of leaning me towards the Michelins too - no one ever has a bad word to say about them.
Anees has PS3s on his evo doesn't he? Think I'll have to check how he's been getting on with them before making a final decision.
