please help
I've got the same make in mine mate, but in a 7" screen version, the dvd quality is pretty good for what you pay for them, the radio quality could be better? but maybe a better aerial would sort that out?? sound quality isn't too bad either could maybe do with a few more levels of bass, but my sub box sorted that out :thumbup1: not had any problems with it though :thumbup1:
Same, for the money you can not beat the Chinese specials, the amount of spec you get for the £ is amazing,
I had one and could not fault it
Have you checked that the antenna on the car is still getting it's ignition12v feed as if not the booster don't work thus making tuning very poor
I didn't on mine and over time I list more channels etc but now it's on Im finding ones I didn't know existed lol
Rabs
Behind the headynit there is a antenna cable connected into the plug is a White connector with a black cable this has silver dashes on this needs to go to 12v ign this is normally yellow on the radio harness connected to your headunit or the power ant if your headunit has one I don't have a pic as I'm no where near the car lol
Rabs
so i have to check to see if this goes to the 12v ign if not then theres a problem i think i now what you mean but when ur near a car a pic would defo help alot
cheers rabs
It's pretty obvious if you pull it out. You'll find the antenna lead since that's plugged into your head unit. The power cable for the booster is joined onto that antenna elad (i.e. a cable with two wires), and needs to be powered because with the OEM head unit removed, if you don't specifically connect it then that booster won't be getting any power.
Here's a rubbish pic of mine. Do not use scotchlocks like I did though (I know better now lol). The blue wire from my head unit harness is connected up to power the aerial booster :
