Another IT question!
Been a while since I done IP addressing and well I've forgot it so heres the question...
When setting up a private network of 5 PCs behind an Internet Router, what IP address ranges have been reserved for such use. Which would you pick, and why?
I bet the answer's simple and its staring me in the face or I done it recently lol...
It's easiest to point you here mate:

You'd normally use 192.168.0.0/16 and most just use 192.168.0.0/8 - ie 192.168.0.1 - 192.168.0.254.
I thought it might be the typical values but the way I read the question it felt as though they were asking for less values lol...

Yeah it's only when you start getting to big internal networks you'd start using the 172 or 10 address spaces although there really is no reason why you couldn't.
When you get to companies with really big networks you'll start seeing them using other addresses but that will be because they own the address space so no-one else would be using that
