My question is has anyone got any advise on how i could make the newer 2003 connectors fit in my older 2000 connector ?

Hi folks. I'm looking for some advise. I got myself a secondhand pair of front fogs but didn't realise the fog connectors changed from 2000 to 2001 onwards
My question is has anyone got any advise on how i could make the newer 2003 connectors fit in my older 2000 connector ?

alternatively if you can find the connectors you could cut and solder new ones on...
you could upgrade your fogs to HID's and then wire direct to the ballast thus avoiding the connector problem....

I THINK it maybe 2001 onwards but not 100% certain.

Thanks for the advise Rabster. I think trying to find the newer wire is a cheaper option. Hopefully i can source one.

So Rabster, if i went for the HID route, would i order an H3 kit (new fogs) and wouldn't need to cut any wires on my HB4 connectors. Would this be just plug and play ?

Ok cool, he mentioned it on the thread when I was asking about replacing a fog light (which I still haven't got round to doing :blushing and I think it was just a case of cutting off the old connectors and soldering the new ones one but if it's at a garage they should be able to figure it out
