Was talking with a friend the other evening about things to do to the car etc, as you do Smile

I am getting my personal plate transfered onto the car soon and we got talking about where to put it, what style of plate etc. the car currently has the standard UK plate mounted front/centre and has the black mount too.

Has anyone done anything different with theirs?I think Stav has a side mounted one? is this just stuck on? I like the side position, but would maybe get a square Jap one made up to mount near the fog light. but then does the black front plate holder leave screw holes in the bumper? I dont really want to put a Jap one in the centre as that would block air reaching the intercooler etc.

Meh, if the holder leaves a set of holes in the bumper then I'll most likely leave it there - or get a smaller plate made up and stick it over the holes. my personal plate has 2 numbers as opposed to 3, so not as short as yours or stavs. Maybe see about spraying the plate holder red to hide it away a bit more or something.

Ormi, did you fill in the holes on your front bumper? I guess being on a dark car they wouldn't be that noticeable anyway (?)

Stav's is side mounted on his sig mate: [Image: LexuS-1.jpg]

I too am thinking about this at the mo. I have a 5 character plate (as Stav and Ormi) and would like it on the side, as they have them. How do you guys mount them to the bumper? Would that leave marks/holes if you ever moved it back?

I am worried about what will be left in the middle. Anyone have a pic? As I can't tell without ripping my plate off (it's stuck on, not screwed/bolted.) I have the TTE bumper (as do Stav and Ormi) I don't know if the stock one is the same or not, in it's plate mountings?

ormi please dont do square you will spoil a stunning car with that type of plate

You mean like Stav's rear one?

You don't get any darker than mine, in black! I think they would still be noticeable, and annoying!

(To avoid condusion, and as my sig states, that is not the plate I have on the car, my road legal plate is one letter, one number, three letters.)

Sparkystav on the front i have a small plate, just stuck on.

So it's just stuck on and could be removed without leaving any marks? Do the original mounting point in the centre look ugly?
