I wouldn't mind them but they have to be the right size and in the right place, and decent quality (anyone any recommendations?)

Why would they even need to be aftermarket parts? Surely it's just a case of modifying the wiring so the sidelights are always on?

Halfords, under the ring brand do two types, nice and bright and all the LED's are in the correct position so no out of focus if you know what I mean

I've been thinking about getting some of these for mine but I don't want to fit the usual row of LEDs just above the headlights, too Audi for me.

When we went to the Ace followed by the Tunnels run last year there was another member that convoyed with us in a silver IS200. I think his name is Ernest. He has done something with his front fog lights so they come on as DRLs.

Anyone any ideas on how this is done?

A day time running light is defined as a stand alone unit that is not wired into a sidelight or an existing fog light and wired to operate thro the ignition.
if you did wire any existing light all it would be is a fog or a sidelight switched on during the day.

All ernest did was to fit hid burners wired to ign, but in the eyes of the law they are still foglights.
