The picture makes it look better. A good look at it and you'd see it's not perfect.

It don't sound overly bad, no where near as bad as I thought it would. When I'm a bit more flush with cash I'm gonna get a USB DAC and see what difference that makes. Bit for the time being I'm happy enough.

I can also, I think it's if you connect the handbrake wire it will stop the dvd playing until it gets the signal from the handbrake.

It's actually quite hard to find information regarding the legality of it all. Most of the information I can find is Amercian law, which is moving images are a no no, but it differs state to state. As far as I can tell UK law allows us to use gadgets and toys as long as we don't have them in our hands. It's confusing as hell and I'm probably totally wrong.

I can't see there being a legal issue as most top end cars have a touch screen display that can do a multitude of stuff. It's not that much of a difference.

Came across a number of awesome video's on the tube, for this type of mod
will check at home if i can find the links...Most Android phones and tablets already come with a Car mode installed, but there is an app available that allows you to automate certain functions like actions that should be performed when things like power is picked up from a charger i just can't remember what it's called, i have tested it on an Android Samsung Phone before and worked well. The specific video i am looking for used a Nexus Tablet and worked very well as well. I think the apps name is Tasker, but i will confirm.

(EDIT) After a quick check i think it may be this series here...
