Yea the MR2 is far more planted then the IS200, the MR2 was usable a bit in the snow the IS200 was useless (with Conti sport contact 2's).
The F1As are brilliant most of the time, but now we've dipped under 5C they just aren't working at all like last year - there really is very little grip, it's a shame as I won't be buying them again purely for that reason.
My rears need replacing as well and planning to go for Michelin PS3s - they cost a bit more but seems it might be worth it.

I'm running Yokohama C Drives- they are a good Summer tyre (not very good in the snow as I found out this morning- slip/sliding into work)

2tongues Summer tyres are not designed to drive in temps this low, this is why the UK comes to a stop, we all expect our tyres to do everything - this just isn't going to happen. You can't expect a summer tyre to work well out of its season.
If you want an all year tyre go for an all season, but then you sacrifice a degree of summer performance.

I'm running those Avon ZZ3's all round on the 300. They are super sticky in the dry and haven't let me down in the wet either. Much better at putting the power down than the Potenza's I had before.
The only reservation I have is that they don't like the cold. Even before all this snow and ice I could tell the performance had deteriorated a considerable amount.
