well i'm about to fit one of these systems to my is200 and wanted to know about fitting them. is it better to run the wires to each window or just fit them to loom at the fuse panel. and one done one of these who can offer any advice

i got a china unit i guess. but what i need to know is are they a + or - system.

the positive and negative wont mater i think as this replaces the link on the up side of the window circuit

what will you be using to trigger the closure from the alarm ?

You need to run wires to all the doors mate, the lexus uses a multiplex from the drivers switch.
And the fuses dont go straight to the motors you'll have to run wires to all doors.

And its positive you need mate, as you need so send a positive signal as its always connected to the ground signal.

trigger will be the same as my folding mirrors i guess. or can i take it from the door lock ?

you will need to take it from the relay output of the folding mirrors the standard alarm output is not of high enough current
