rob people should RTFM then you cant go wrong.

And before anyone atempts to change the gearbox oil make sure you have a way of getting the oil into the gearbox.....

Firstly, this thread is over 2 weeks old and has been answered. Second, the manual only specifies standards which the oil has to meet and does not give particular brands, so the OP's question was not answered in the manual as not every oil will be suitable for use in both applications.

But ill humour you anyway.. whats the time limit you have imposed, is it 2 weeks on every posting or only certain ones?

OP asked can the same oil be used in both - the manual gives the specs for both - if the specs the same the manual does provide the answer.

All I have to say is so far so good, No horrible noises and still nice and smooth, If not a little smoother!

So far done over 600 trouble free miles!
