You may be confused Jim. I think what you are describing the the board game Mouse Trap! :lol:

mr2tubbyben that's a good idea, i may just do that. saves having to spend £100 every time my key battery goes;thats what it costs to buy a new key and get it coded

It was good enough for Mr Beans Mini :p

How about fitting one of these to the inside of the door with the wire going to the frame.
It would mean that the police would have a steaming brown pile of evidence just outside the van to test for DNA. :laugh:
