sprinter2012 Basically I want to know if I can use the existing foglight wiring to run my DRLs by changing the relay from a current=on to a current=off type so they just come on when I turn the car on? Is that possible?
i saw a write up on the my.is site ages ago about changing the wiring to turn the standard fogs into DRLs.. maybe something there could help?

Good shout! There's a mod HERE you can do which connects the fog light relay to the ignition circuit so the foglight switch will work even if no other lights are on :thumbup1:
And if I use one of THESE I can use a lower value fuse in the DRL circuit so I don't blow anything up.
