That's what I thought it's when Tony said about modified chassis's the settings are rubbish, I thought I best double check for un-modified. So for now I need the correct settings for a standard car and then if I get it lowered I will need the settings depending on the drop or does it not work like that?

40mm Lowering Springs, Re-sprayed Front, 6000K HID's, Re-furbed alloys, Bandit Induction Kit (cheers Chris), Raised boot spoiler with LED, Blue calipers with silver decals, De-badged rear, Chrome Oil Filler Cap (thanks to Chris again), White LED dash bulbs, Blue a/c control bulbs, Blue door markers and interior lights, Sony head unit, Chrome Lexus tax disc holder, TRD side skirts, Original Saloon Front Bumper re-fitted instead of Sportcross

You need the WIM settings for a decent setup on a standard car. If you lower it then that will mess up the geo and it will need adjusting to get it back to the WIM settings. Though Tony may be able to advice on setting it slightly differently if lowered, as he mentioned (e.g. I think mine has more negative camber once lowered).

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

Haven't the OEM settings been updated though? I remember a thread a while back saying a dealer was using settings similar to the WIM ones - but then Lexus failed to comment about any previous error being corrected.......

It's possible that some dealers might use the WIM settings, but I wouldn't bank on it. I don't think there's been any kind of official change to use those, I suspect that will be on an individual basis.

Right I get it now, set it to WIM's settings when stock, then if lowered it'll need re-setting to WIM's settings, I was getting abit confused thinking there was a big list of different settings for different mods:blink: right hopefully that's my braindead moment out of the way for today:laugh:

I think that Tony was talking in general, saying that he can basically set your car up however you want, depending on what mods are installed, how you want to use it, etc, etc.

Even if Lexus are using WIM's settings I doubt they'd tell anyone about it as that'd be an admission that they were wrong in the first place, can't see them using them tho TBH probably just some very very similar:wink:

Tony sets up racing cars as well as our road cars, so if you can describe what it is you want, he'll set it up that way for you (assuming that's within the car's range of adjustments) !

Without getting this discussion too deep, even if you've had chassis modification, is the ultimate goal of the geo to make the wheels point in the same direction (if still road use, and not track, etc.)

So say the car is lowered, the angles of various components will now be different, so it's a case of recalculating so the end result is that the wheels point the same way as if you had a stock setup?
