No tyres are good in ice/snow, except ones with chains on, and no issues in wet either, but i never pushed the car if it was wet, something iv'e been cautious with the lex also

I had Nankangs on my IS for a while fine in the dry but as Bandits says be (very) careful in the wet. What about Kuhmo's I have had them before & they are decent for the money, as are Falkens. Is there much difference in price from the Nankangs to the khumos/Falkens. Dont mean to be a moan but tyres are not something you want to skimp on, get the best you can afford mate.

At the risk of telling you something you already know, bear in mind that your tyres are the only thing keeping you in contact with the road, so get as good ones as you can afford !
Oh well bit the bullet and ordered 2 new Falken FK452's just waiting on a phone call to say they've come in, just hope the last longer than the 2 they're replacing:Sulk:
Got them fitted this morning and well worth the extra cash i'd forgot just how grippy these tyres are:biggrin:
