Samsung Galaxy S - brief review
I just love the simpleness of it, if i want to download an app, music album, video i can do it all via the phone over wifi, i dont have to *** around plugging into my laptop (which is knackered anyway) and then syncing all the time.
From whate ive been reading up, android phones are tempting me on all areas like screen/size/camera/PRICE/tarriffs/processor speeds/browsing/memory
the only thing detering me is the seeming lack of apps
what im possibly doing is looking for an iphone in a different handset at a better price, but slightly beter at the same time
a bit daft i know, but once you've lived with an iphone you realise how awesome it really is

hmmm, my mate was having a fit last night because he cant get half the apps on android that you can on the iphone

Lack of apps,I'm not overly sure about - I don't have/use all that many anyway if I'm honest - but I've never been stuck for one I've needed yet, so far I've found whatever I needed fairly easily. Not much of one for the games though, only have a couple (chess and torect - and torect is very addictive...)
I do all my downloading on Android over wifi too... apps, music, whatever I want to download... the only time I ever plugged it into the laptop was transferring pictures and even that's cos I couldn't be bothered getting bluetooth sorted out properly.

It's just the silly ones like apps to measure the size of your c**k that don't make it on to android as there isn't a market for that sort of thing among android users :lol:

What apps are missing? From my experience all the major ones are on both platforms?

yeh they do, hence their slogan 'theres an app for that' cos Apple listen to feedback so if enough people want an app for the same thing, apple will create it, in addition to all the other pointless apps they are constantly coming up with

tvcatchup works fine, dunno bout skysports as I don't have it, but when beebplayer was available that worked amazingly well.

That hasn't made it over, you have two choices - either use armoured strike which is almost the same game, or get a snes emulator and play the snes version of worms. Either way there are options, and those iPhone games will make it over in time.
