Fair enough, on one hand I agree and on the other I feel that these things happen and as long as they sort it out with minimal fuss then I'm happy - much rather that than them giving me trouble saying they won't fix it.
Bad news unfortunately though, went in today for them to have a go at polishing it out and it didn't work - so they've booked it in to the bodyshop for a few weeks time to use a proper mop to take it out.
Most likely it'll need a respray is the final conclusion but either way if it's hassle free I'm happy
