thinking about my first tattoo
thinking about my first tattoo
i prefer the 4th but not over keen on tribal tbh but its not my choice.
be wise and decide wisely as its with you for a while
btw the 1st 2 pix look like they were pinched from a gay magazine lol
I like tribals and of your four the last one is the best. It will probably be the most expensive of those and the more painful .. Make sure you plan the timing out well with your artist so the more painful bits are done when you have a few days off and you talk about how to best minimise the rubbing of overalls etc especially considering how much you have to move your arms at work ... I reckon if you have wanted one for years as long as you really like the design you won't regret it ever .
im still 3/4 into getting my forearm sleeve done,
had two session, jsut saving for the 3rd session, spent £250 thus far, next session will be £100
then gotta find something to fill the space thats still left
image is a bit dodge as on phone
PS: i like the 4th one, but always ahve a go at designing it yourself,
my tattoo is ripped off the tinternet but has tweaks to make it my own
Take a look at the samoa designes and things from the south sea islands. If you have to have black tribal type patterns make sure whoever does it knows how to get it looking good, we constantly see rubbish tribal because people just don't take the time to draw it correctly. A tattoo takes as long as it takes, we always give an estimate but there are many factors that affect the tattoo process. Price is not something I will comment on because it varies so much. Check artist portfolios, health standards, proof of autoclave service, insist that you see all equipment opened in front of you and disposed of at the end of the session. If in doubt walk out. Remember that there are no quality checks in this industry no qualifications and a massive problem with bad studios, even people stealing portfolios from other people. Really make sure whoever does it can do what they say. The tattoo design is your choice you have to live with it no one else.
banky a like tattoos bud but dont like the out a mag thing its better drawing up your own
as for the pain side its not that bad
and remember you cant take it off if u dont like it in a few year so best not 2 rush into it

Carpediem agreed, the pain is trivial in respect of whats going on
took me 4 months to tweak my dragon sleeve tattoo and there are still a few bits that im not happy with that i will get changed on my next session
its not the end of the world completely though, there are various ways of getting rid or covering up tattoo's,
my very first tattoo is rubbish, i'll be getting it covered up shortly when funds allow
