Your Club Needs YOU!!!
Your Club Needs YOU!!!
Get rid of welcoming new members, I've never seen this on any forum before and it just wastes space, time, and server resources. They have a new members/introduction forum, they can post up in there if they want to draw our attention to them. None of them ever reply anyway!!
Enforce the rules in the T&Cs about signatures. Not everyone has got a massive resolution screen and if you're on your phone it's ridiculous! Part of working successfully on the internet is making sure that your site is accessible by as many people as possible and many people use small devices regularly!
WRT things like the WIM raffle, you have to remember that OJC is still a very small club. It might have 200-300 registered users but only ~65 of them are paid up and even fewer than that form the daily users who are the real heart of a club - the people who actually contribute. The MR2 club that I'm admin for has over 20,000 members but we still only have a small group who contribute to the club on a daily basis and our paid up members count in the hundreds.
Above all, keep it up You've done a lot in a year!
Marsdendean Moley. About the WIM raffle. Some people may not be able to afford £5 here and there, so i think its a little unfair to say it need to "get sorted??"
I think the club is doing a great job, just maybe some flyers for reps with there name on, and a few details about the club, to place on peoples cars?

I never had a hello and welcome (at least I don't think so anyway) from the other side when I joined. I thought it made a nice touch when I joined here.
More LS owners would be good for a giggle. I like things just the way they are. Everyone on here has been froendly and very helpfull and you can't put a price on that.
Keep up the good work Mods etc.
I still think some topic threads should be removed and utilised for other things that ppl may care about.
There are 3or4 sections that have never seen a single post.
Oh and a video section :thumbup1:
Is it possible to have a "go to last read" button for all threads - unless I am missing it if its already there:lol:
Oh and a HUGE thanks to the management team for a fantastic 1st year.
