when i was doing mine they maxed out at 220 but i have a fuel pump and return line fitted, not sure if that would explain it,
jay_russell i think you will need bigger injectors and a piggyback ecu and a fuel pump with return line to push out that power
Rabster you need an ecu not the black box to get more stav did all this i think dimis is aswell
Gord No you need piggy back ecu to control the injectors mate, standard injectors good for 250bhp.

2tongues Or just sell the IS200 and get an IS300, at least thats got a tunable engine in it from stock.

But you could sell it and get a 'charger for the IS300.
Besides a 300 is generally quicker then a charged 200, without the insurance hike.

Marsdendean Stav said you could run a turbo on low boost with a blackbox and get around the 210BHP figure for abouts 2K and then when you can afford / want to, get a piggyback ecu, remap and different injectors and go for more power

2tongues Its all about the efficiency of the turbo and how turbos produce boost over chargers. The TTE charger is just not capable of producing enough airflow to get past 210 - 220bhp. If you want power turbo is the best way and getting the correct type of turbo is essential - as is excellent mapping.
There is an IS200 running 330 on standard internals, I think Rabsters is on 300BHP ish. It is a blooming fast car, I had the pleasure of driving it on the last Switzerland tripiscoStu:

dimis Yep, you are correct mate. If someone fits a bigger pulley, they must fit bigger injectors, paralllel ecu, correct mapping and bigger intercoooler to save their engine from blowing.

2tongues I forgot about your setup to be honest!! But gt the time you have done all that work, a turbo would have given more bhp for similar outlay?
