Doesn't look like it would need that big a repair job, what was the estimated cost of repair? And is there any damage to the engine? Looks like a pretty minor impact from the damage..........

What happened there, looks like something (the fans or a belt or pulley ?) have partially cut through a connector, is that right ?

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

Even if the engine was damaged they go for £200 to £350 at the moment.

Yeah, the impact had pushed the rad back onto the pulley, so my mate and i pulled the front out enoght to clear the plug, but it had already done some dammage to it.

Car drives ok, i drove it back home (over 30 miles) like that, bought 2 litre bottles of water just incase (rad) but never neaded them.

Will know in the next day or two whats gonna happen with the repair as it looks like they will write it off, but ill buy it back and fix it up again.

ok, that sounds like quite extensive damage if the rad was pushed back, I think it's probably worse than some of the pictures make out. Hopefully you can still get it repaired yourself, even if it is written off.
