25-01-2018, 12:04 PM #41We've (i say we, i mean me really) have gone to the extremes of ordering a body ECU from a US IS300 to see if it works differently to the uk on and if we can get it to work, as the americans seem to have no problem, yet it wont work for us!

i cant understand why they would change the modules from American to European models...
if the American body ECU allows it to activate the alarm then this is a step in the right direction...
thats correct stav, all the uk models so far seem to not allow the drivers door lock to control the alarm but the Americans seem to allow the lock to but it seems very odd as all the wiring shows that all the cars are identical.....

DaveEdin Isn't that cos they tend to need them more what with inept american drivers and problems with corners? :lol:
I think its the comedy suspension set ups they seam to love.
